There is much to recommend our city in its spectacular coastal
setting. Scenery,wildlife, both salt and fresh water sports fishing
and First Nation culture make us interesting to the visitor. Despite
our remote location and small size we have outstanding museums and
an extraordinary performing and visual arts community. That and
the friendly multicultural population make us a relaxing and memorable
place to visit and stay a while.
A word about the weather, we are a coastal community surrounded
by Canada’s northern rainforest, consequently one should expect
some rain during one’s stay.
